Wings: a queer perfomance with CareOzen Météore

PLEASE NOTE:
This event is a short performance by our current resident.
Length: 15 mins.
PLEASE BE ON TIME
CareOzen Météore is a drag monster from the moon. He descends to Earth to offer love and tenderness when the world becomes too much, then flies into a rage at the world being “too much.” He oscillates between poetic tenderness and fiery rage. His goal on stage is to give the audience the strength and support needed to burn away injustice. He brings a pink cloud and a golden flame…
His mediums are: words (whispered, recited), circus acrobatics, dance, a bit of lip-syncing, and dreamlike costumes & makeup.
Care Ozen Météore performs in various corners of Brussels, in the Belgian
countryside, under circus tents, in theaters, in bars, and now, at Desperate Literature!
He looks forward to seeing you there <3
Presentation of the performance “Wings”
TW: familial violence, queerphobia
“Wings” is a performance both intimate and political. Speech, text, music,
and gentle choreography blend together into a final dance of joy, liberation, and kinship.
