SUMMARY:Wings: a queer perfomance with CareOzen Météore
DESCRIPTION:PLEASE NOTE:\nThis event is a short performance by our current resident.\nLength: 15 mins.\nPLEASE BE ON TIME \nCareOzen Météore is a drag monster from the moon. He descends to Earth to offer love and tenderness when the world becomes too much\, then flies into a rage at the world being “too much.” He oscillates between poetic tenderness and fiery rage. His goal on stage is to give the audience the strength and support needed to burn away injustice. He brings a pink cloud and a golden flame… \nHis mediums are: words (whispered\, recited)\, circus acrobatics\, dance\, a bit of lip-syncing\, and dreamlike costumes & makeup.\nCare Ozen Météore performs in various corners of Brussels\, in the Belgian\ncountryside\, under circus tents\, in theaters\, in bars\, and now\, at Desperate Literature!\nHe looks forward to seeing you there <3 \nPresentation of the performance “Wings”\nTW: familial violence\, queerphobia\n“Wings” is a performance both intimate and political. Speech\, text\, music\,\nand gentle choreography blend together into a final dance of joy\, liberation\, and kinship.
