SUMMARY:Casa Poética Open Mic
DESCRIPTION:SEE CLUBS PAGE FOR ALL WORKSHOPS AND BOOKCLUBS \nAlejandra Pizarnik: You write poems because you need a place where what isn’t may be. \nCan we hide in language? Can we use language to say the unsayable? What is it that cannot be said? This season\, we will enter the world of Alejandra Pizarnik (Buenos Aires\, 1936–1972) through a selection of poems in which language condenses\, meanings hide\, and the poet’s fight to speak will make us question the relationship between words and silence. \nCasa Poética is a literary community founded by poet and educator Irene Torra. Since 2022\, it has brought together more than 150 participants from over 30 countries around contemporary poetry through close reading\, collaborative discussion and live encounters with poets. \nFall dates:\nSeptember: 27\nOctober: 11\, 25\nNovember: 15\, 29 (with guest poet)\nDecember: 13 (open mic) \nTo join please fill in this FORM or contact Irene (on IG @casapoetica.madrid or via irenetorra.poesia@gmail.com) \n\nSingle session: 9 euros\nFull term (6 sessions): 45 euros\nOpen mic: 6 euros
